Reel Queer Youth
Reel Queer Youth is a free program intended to help LGBTQ youth express themselves through filmmaking. The four-day program, produced in partnership with Reel Grrls, will take place at a film center on Capitol Hill and will teach media literacy and the basics of filmmaking.
Participants will meet on four days:
Saturday, October 2nd, 12pm-4pm
Friday, October 8, 10am-4pm
Saturday, October 9, 10am-4pm
Sunday, October 10, 10am-4pm
The short films made during this program will be shown on October 23 at a special program during the Seattle Lesbian & Gay Film Festival.
If you are interested, are between the ages of 13 and 21, and identify as LGBTQ or as an ally, then please download the application. You must fill out and submit the application by September 24.
