SLGFF Centerpiece Film Plays at Central Cinema

STEAM, centerpiece film of the 2008 Seattle Lesbian & Gay Film Festival returns to Seattle for 3 screenings at Central Cinema.

Three women from three generations let their woes melt away in the cleansing atmosphere of a steam room. Kate Siegel (as college student Elizabeth), HIGH ART’s Ally Sheedy (forty-something single mom Laurie), and Oscar nominee Ruby Dee (elderly Doris) create extraordinary women characters with realistic and relatable issues. Combining humor and heartbreak, STEAM is a powerful portrayal of women emerging from struggles to newfound strength and confidence.

STEAM screens:
Now-March 5
7:00pm & 9:30pm
Central Cinema
1411 21st Avenue
Seattle, WA 98122
