COSTUME CONTEST
SPECIAL HOST: SISTER WINDY
The Egyptian is alive with the sound of 500 queers - singing our way through one of the most beloved musicals of all time! Secretly, you have always known that you were destined to be a Broadway star. Join us and let your inner Julie Andrews out so that she may climb every mountain! For those who have not lovingly memorized every lyric, each song will be specially subtitled for the occasion. When the London Lesbian and Gay Film Festival hosted this event earlier this year it was the hands-down festival favorite, drawing an audience ranging in age from 4 to 70. Families of all kinds are welcome. In addition, a costume contest will be held at intermission. So break out those white dresses with blue satin sashes, wimples, and lederhosen (we know you have them). Let's share a few of our favorite things!
