Tom Bianchi and Wash West are artists who explore queer male sexuality
and who certainly know how to make it accessible to the masses.
ON THE COUCH – TORONTO is one part of a series of calendars
and books in which Bianchi photographed men “consciously exploring
their erotic selves.” This “making of” film provides
a titillating behind-the-scenes combination of beautiful stills,
probing commentary, and hot guys getting off. If you don’t
have a thing for Canadian boys, you will after watching these guys
willing to bare all in the chilly Toronto climate.
Screening with RUBBER IS NATURAL will slide a safe
sex message into a tight homage to vintage adult films. Last year,
West’s PORNO PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY provided our audience
a release from conventional, contemporary porn, and this film is
also promises to deliver a load of fun.
