Three Dollar Bill Cinema, in partnership with the Capitol Hill branch of the Seattle Public Library, is pleased to present this free youth-focused program.

12:00pm - LET’S GET REAL
“Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me.” Kids in grades 6 through 9 break down that myth by speaking openly about what it’s like to be targeted, about bullying, and how to stand up as an ally. (Ages 10 and up)
12:45pm - DID YOU KNOW THAT MR. MICHAEL IS GAY?
When high school teacher Michael Soet comes out to his students, the questions and conversations they have are enlightening and surprising. (Ages 10 and up)
1:30pm - WEIGHT OF THE WORLD: A STORY IN VOLUNTEERING
Get a peek behind the scenes of Seattle’s Lambert House—a drop-in center and safe haven for GLBTQ youth—through interviews with volunteers, staff, and young people. (Ages 14 and up)
