JULIE JOHNSONJULIE JOHNSON - OPENING NIGHT GALA!

Friday October 19
8:00 P.M.
Cinerama Theatre

Julie Johnson (Lili Taylor) yearns to find out what lies beyond the confining chaos of housewifery in Hoboken, New Jersey. She finds herself secretly devouring piles of science magazines and then discovers she’s a computer whiz after enrolling in a class at the local community college. Julie, the dutiful wife and mother, becomes a suburban misfit when she not only earns her GED, but also falls in love with her supportive best friend, Claire (Courtney Love). With a fabulous cast that includes Spalding Gray as Julie’s college professor, JULIE JOHNSON is a winning comic portrayal of what happens when the doors of personal discovery open.
